Custom tools

Expose team-specific actions safely.

Custom tools give agents a safe interface to systems that are awkward to access directly: deployment status, internal metadata, ticket creation, or company checks. Prefer MCP when the tool should be reusable across clients. A good tool has a small schema, predictable output, permission metadata, and no secrets in the description.
